Escrow Sales Terms and Conditions

These terms cover the sale of your used equipment through Mee Loft.  

Inspection of gear - $75

Inspection to check condition of gear.  If work is required to bring the gear to a good airworthy condition this will be discussed with the seller and the work must be completed and paid for prior to advertising of the gear.

If the seller chooses not to proceed with the work required a $75 inspection fee will be charged. The $75 fee inspection fee will be waived if the seller proceeds with advertising the gear for sale.

Reserve Inspection 

Where the most recent reserve repack and inspection was completed by Mee Loft there is no further need for us to inspect the reserve.  Where the last inspection and repack was conducted elsewhere we shall open the reserve to ensure ourselves and the buyer of the current condition of the equipment prior to advertising.

Shipping

The seller is responsible for shipping costs to Mee Loft.  Shipping from Mee Loft to the buyer is at the buyers expense unless otherwise negotiated.

Advertising cost - $350 for a complete rig / $150 for single component (i.e. container or canopy) / 10% of sale price for all accessories.

This is an upfront fee that must be paid for prior to the commencement of advertising for major components.  For accessories the fee can be paid post sale.

Payment by Buyer

The purchase price will be paid directly to the 'Seller' via their Australian bank account or other means as agreed by the 'Buyer'.  Mee Loft will not release the equipment until the 'Seller' has advised us of cleared funds in their account.

Please ensure you provide your Australian Bank Account details when you complete the Escrow Sales Form.

 Unsold gear

If the gear remains unsold at the end of the 6 month advertising period the seller must collect the gear or it can be shipped at the owners expense.

Loss or Damage

Whilst the equipment is stored at Mee Loft we will take all reasonable care to ensure it is stored in an appropriate manner.  In the event of loss or damage you agree to not seek any form of compensation or payment from Mee Loft or its staff.
