Atlas II – Big Screen, Big Numbers, No Excuses
Esc ID 1563 / AUD$500
Hardly used Alti-2 Atlas II with XL armband.
If your current visual altimeter requires a squint, a head tilt and a brief negotiation with your eyesight, the Atlas II is the answer.
It’s a digital visual altimeter with a large, easy-to-read display, but there’s considerably more going on behind that screen.
You get highly visible altitude information, an automatic logbook, jump statistics and stored jump data, rechargeable battery, adjustable display settings, and a unit designed to work as both your everyday visual altimeter and a useful record of what you’ve actually been doing in the sky.
The big advantage of the Atlas II is that it gives you the benefits of digital without turning the simple job of “how high am I?” into an avionics course. At a glance, the information you actually need is right there. Along with letting you known your descent rate when under canopy!
This one comes with the XL armband, so if you’ve got bigger forearms, wear a bulky jumpsuit, or simply prefer some adjustment rather than cutting off the circulation to your hand, you’re sorted.
Why do you want it?
Because it’s hardly used, you’re buying a premium digital visual without paying new-unit money, the display is gloriously obvious, it logs your jumps for you, and unlike your mate on the load it actually remembers what altitude you were at.
Charge it. Strap it on. Go jump.
